If Obsession is away cruising then daysailing will be organized on Ruff Diamond We typically sail within Dublin Bay nearby depending on weather conditions. Sessions can include training exercises, informal race training or ocassionally trips to somewhere nearby such as Howth or Bray. Some weekend sessions may be longer and may include going ashore or perhaps anchoring for lunch anywhere from Wicklow to Skerries.
No experience of sailing is required to take part in keelboat sessions.
If you want to try out the club before joining you can join a session as a guest.

Dinghy Day Sailing

Dinghy sessions are usually organized on Monday evenings, Wednesday Evenings and on Saturday or Sunday based on demand.
We typically sail within the Harbour or nearby depending on weather conditions. Sessions can include training exercises, informal racing or ocassionally trips to somewhere such as Dalkey Island.
Safety cover is provided and all participants are expected to take a turn and help out manning the saftey boat. If you have no powerboating experience this is a great way to learn.
Some previous experience of dinghy sailing is required to take part in dinghy sessions, but all our boats are two handers so there will always be at least one experienced crew on each boat.
If you want to try out the club before joining you can join a session as a guest.
